This collection documents the administration of The North Wind, the student newspaper at Northern Michigan University. The records document the official meetings of the The North Wind's Board of Directors and include minutes, agendas, membership lists, correspondence, and supporting documentation presented to the Board.Two accessions to the collection maintain a record of all ads placed in the newspaper. The series includes clipped and mounted copies of each advertisement. The record series is arranged alphabetically by business: on campus, local off-campus, and national.One accession documents job applications for open positions and provides insight into the hiring process. This record series consists entirely of the PDF application form.Finally, the accession of photographs predominately document student activities and campus scenes.
